The Chicago White Sox lost a tough divisional game on Tuesday night to the Minnesota Twins. The White Sox scored one run in the ninth inning but still found themeselves coming up short by one run as they lost 6-5.
Clayton Richard took the loss for the White Sox as he only lasted 4 2/3 innings after giving up seven hits and five runs. Richard struck out three batters and walked two others in the game. D.J. Carrasco allowed one run as well in the game as he pitched 1 1/3 innings.
Brian Anderson and Nick Swisher both hit solo home runs for the team. Josh Fields led the team with two rbi as he had a two run double in the second inning. Carlos Quentin had the other rbi for the Sox has he had a rbi groundout to get the White Sox on the board in the first inning.
The White Sox will try to get back on track on Wednesday as they take on the Twins once again.
