The Chicago White Sox got back on the winning track as they beat the Minnesota Twins 6-2 on Thursday afternoon.  The White Sox beat the Twins two out of three games in the series to improve their record to 15-17.

John Danks tossed five innings six hit ball to pick up the win.  Danks allowed two runs as he improved his record to 2-2 on the season.  Octavio Dotel pitched two scoreless innings while Scott Linebrink and Bobby Jenks both threw one inning each without allowing a run.

Jermaine Dye and Juan Uribe both hit home runs for the White Sox in the game.  Urbie finished the game with two rbi, while Carlos Quentin, Toby Hall, and Dye all had one rbi in the game.

Good win for the White Sox as they try to get back on the winning ways and get back over the .500 mark.

Jim Thome came off his one game suspension and hit a three-run home run to defeat the Baltimore Orioles by the score of 3-1.  The home run came in the first inning, and the White Sox pitching staff made those three runs hold up for the White Sox ninth win of the season.

Jose Contreras picked up the win for the White Sox.  Contrereas pitched seven innings and gave up four hits and only one earned run.  Great win for Contreras who pitched very good.  Scott Linebrink pitched the eigth inning before Bobby Jenks picked up his sixth save of the season in the ninth inning.

I would have liked to see the White Sox score more runs, but give them credit for making the three runs hold up.
