Before the heroics in the 10th inning, the only White Sox run was in the second inning when Ramirez hit a sac fly that scored Jim Thome.
Adam Russell ended up picking up the victory in relief to improve his record to 1-0 on the year. White Sox starting pitcher John Danks pitched good as he lasted eight innings. Danks only gave up four hits and one run in the game as he got the no decision. Matt Thornton was the White Sox reliever that gave up the go ahead run for the Indians in the 10th inning to Casey Blake.
