The Chicago White Sox lost their first spring training game as they lost to the Colorado Rockies 7-3. The White Sox pitching staff could not stop Matt Holliday and Troy Tulowitzki as they led the Rockies to the victory.
John Danks looked pretty solid on the pitching mound as he started the game and pitched two innings. He did serve up a long homerun to Tulowitzki but other then that he looked pretty sharp. He will really be counted on to help out the White Sox this season, and so far I like what I see.
The two teams meet again on Thursday afternoon at Hi Corbett Field, with Jose Contreras and Aaron Cook getting the starts.
